We are committed to providing our customers with premium quality products and outstanding service. In the unlikely event you wish to return a product that you believe in some way does not meet your expectations due to the quality of the product. In such cases, whilst you are already protected under Australian Consumer Law, we offer additional support to remedy the situation.
All products sold by Oil & Energy must be:
- fit for all the purposes for which goods of that kind are commonly supplied
- acceptable in appearance
- free from defects
You can return an item to us if:
- it’s faulty
- it’s incorrectly described
- it’s different from a sample shown
- it doesn’t do what we said it would do
- it’s not of an acceptable quality
To ask for an exchange, repair or refund, you’ll need to provide proof of purchase. If the product is assessed to be faulty or unfit for its intended purpose, refunds will be issued using the same method as your original payment.
Assessing your return
We may need to conduct an assessment of your product to determine whether a replacement or refund is appropriate. In some circumstances, due to technical considerations, some products may need to be sent to the manufacturer for assessment. Within the scope of Australian Consumer Law, Oil & Energy reserves the right to wait for the outcome of such an assessment before making a determination on whether a refund or replacement will be issued.
