Phillips 66 Type A 100AW

In addition to being an ashless dispersant (AD), Phillips 66 Type A 100A includes an approved anti-wear (AW) additive to protect high-performance aircraft engines. It has the highest VII (Viscosity improver) number in the industry and lowest pour point of any single grade aviation oil on the market.

Type A is a mineral based anti-wear oil approved for all opposed piston engines. (whether normally aspirated, fuel injected or turbocharged) and radial aviation engines. It is preblended with Lycoming approved anti-wear additive (LW-16702). This additive enriched oil offers unprecedented performance, most notably superior strength, protecting engines from piston scuffing and wear.

Phillips 66 Type A 100AD

Phillips 66 Type A 100AW is a premium, single grade oil designed for opposed piston aircraft engines that call for SAE 50 or Commercial Grade 100 oils. Formulated to provide cleaner engine operation, Type A 100AD has the same high-quality, ashless dispersant (AD) additive chemistry found in X/C aviation oils. The finest petroleum mineral base oils help lower oil consumption and protect engines from excessive wear and piston scuffing. Type 100AD may be used for a quick and clean break-in and for continued use TBO.

Phillips 66 Type A 120AD

Phillips 66 Type A 120AD is a premium, single grade oil designed for radial aircraft engines that call for SAE 60 or Commercial grade 120 oils. Formulated to provide cleaner engine operation, Type A 120AD has the same high-quality, ashless dispersant (AD) additive chemistry found in X/C aviation oils. The finest petroleum mineral base oils help lower oil consumption and protect engines from excessive wear and piston scuffing. It also provides excellent corrosion protection. Type 120AD may be used for a quick and clean break-in and for continued use TBO.

Phillips 66 X/C Aviation Hydraulic Fluids - Heavy duty protection

Phillips 66 X/C 5606H and X/C 5606A Aviation Hydraulic Fluids are both formulated to provide under severe-duty applications. X/C 5606A meets the latest military specifications. Filtered and hermetically sealed, it is excellent for use where “super clean “fluid can contribute to helping prolong service life and reliability.

X/C 5606H and X/C 5606A are red-dyed, mineral based fluids. The super additive technology provides excellent lower temperature fluidity as well as exceptional anti-wear capability and corrosion inhibition, and shear stability.

Phillips 66 X1W 20W-50

X/C 20W-50 is the first approved multiviscosity aviation oil for opposed piston engines. It provides better engine performance than any single grade oil in all weather conditions. X/C 20W-50 is formulated with an ashless dispersant package allowing for cleaner operation.

X/C 20W-50 is recommended for break-in. It provides a cleaner and quicker break-in than traditional all mineral single grade oils. Plus, X/C is an operational oil so there is no need to switch oils after break-in.

X/C 20W-50 utilizes all petroleum base oils which provide excellent solvency and is successful in preventing lead and lead salts.

Take advantage of X/C 20W-50's multiviscosity performance benefits year-round for easier starts and quicker flow of oil to critical engine parts.

Phillips 66 X/C 25W-60

X/C 25W-60 is the first and only multiviscosity, aviation oil designed and approved for radial engines originally designed to run on 120 grade.

Pilots and mechanics will notice immediate benefits with X/C 25W-60 over single grade oils. Benefits such as improved oil flow at startup, quicker warm-up time, cooler operating temperatures and a cleaner operating engine. X/C 25W-60 also has proven corrosion protection in extreme conditions.
